Cancer Surgery

at Valley Health

Valley Health’s experienced cancer surgeons are trained in advanced, minimally invasive techniques for the treatment of a variety of cancers. We are able to perform many procedures through small incisions, which can mean shorter hospital stays and fewer complications for patients.

We use advanced robot-assisted surgical techniques to treat several types of cancer including colorectal, lung, esophageal, small intestine, stomach and pancreatic cancers. Robot-assisted surgery offers improved visualization and technical maneuverability, enhancing our ability to perform highly complex procedures through small incisions.

In collaboration with other members of Valley Health’s multidisciplinary cancer team, our surgeons work with each patient to determine the treatment approach that is right for that individual.

Some of our minimally invasive surgical techniques include video assisted thoracic surgery (VATS) and robot-assisted techniques.
